This delightful café is not just another stop on your journey; it's a charming oasis where homemade flavors take center stage and every scoop is a celebration of quality and creativity.

Maranne's offers an impressive array of flavors that contribute to its reputation as a must-visit for ice cream lovers. Patrons rave about the unique taste experiences, including the refreshing passion fruit topped with crispy toasted coconut. The textural interplay of creamy ice cream and crunchy toppings is sure to tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more. This homemade delight is made with dedication, ensuring that every visit offers something that feels both nostalgic and special.

The atmosphere at Maranne's is equally inviting. With a cozy seating area overlooking the harbor, you can savor your ice cream while taking in the breathtaking views of the shimmering sea. It's the perfect spot to relax after a picturesque walk from Princess Margaret Beach. The gentle sea breeze and the serene sounds of the ocean create a blissful backdrop for enjoying a sweet treat.

While the ice cream is undoubtedly the star of the show, some reviews suggest that the service can be a hit-or-miss experience. Customer 'Shawn Henriques' noted a lack of warmth from Maranne herself, despite the delightful offerings. However, this does not deter many, including 'Gosia Hooper,' who highlighted the unique flavors and the charming atmosphere, making her return visits a must. Likewise, 'Martin Patricny' and 'Christine Rose' also expressed their fondness for the shop, showcasing its popularity among visitors even if the owner’s style might be a tad reserved.

The café may not offer the lowest prices on the island, as mentioned by 'Sebastian Zimmermann,' yet it remains a staple due to its artisanal approach to ice cream and the stunning harbor views that accompany every scoop. It’s an experience that transcends the simple act of enjoying a dessert; it becomes a charming part of your journey in Bequia.

So next time you're near Port Elizabeth, step into Maranne's Homemade Icecream, where every scoop is a delightful adventure waiting to happen. You won't just taste the ice cream; you'll experience a piece of Bequia's heart.

The ice cream is pretty good with even better views on the patio. We had the passion fruit with the toasted coconut topping and would definitely do it again. Also have to mention that for an ice cream store owner, Maranne does not come across as personable. Little reaction/gratitude from her even when I told her I updated her store hours on google which previously reflected her covid hours.

Very good ice cream, the lady is not very passionate to put it mildly. But even so it was a must visit for us (our kids) every time we went from the Princess Margaret beach to town - which itself is an amazing walk.

You must visit Maranne's Ice cream shop when on Bequia in the Grenadines. I'm not an ice-cream fan but once I tried Maranne's ice-cream I went back a few times since as the flavours are amazing! Lovely place with delicious home made products and a great history.

Good homemade ice cream. Expensive, as most things are on Bequia. They don't have cones which was disappointing. Nice small seating area with a harbour view. Found another shop down the street that had cones and was way cheaper located in the Bayshore Mall.
